Harvard University does not permit kegs at any University athletic function or event. Vehicles and/or fans carrying amounts of alcohol above State Law will NOT be allowed within the complex. Unruly or visibly intoxicated behavior will be grounds for removal.

Bag Policy

All persons, bags, and personal items are subject to inspection before entering Harvard's facilities. Fans may bring personal bags to events, however they will all be subject to search.


Each ticket issued by Harvard Athletics is a revocable license which may be revoked for any reason at any time at the sole discretion of Harvard Athletics.  Tickets may be revoked or cancelled for reasons including, but not limited to, the following:

Any form of fraudulent or unlawful activity. The purchase of tickets for the purpose and intent of reselling the tickets. Use of tickets for sweepstakes, contests, and/or promotions without the prior written consent from Harvard Athletics. Drunk, disorderly or obscene behavior. Conduct prohibited by Harvard University policies. Ticket holders should comply with applicable Massachusetts law in connection with any attempts at ticket resale. The ticket license does not confer any property right to the ticket holder.

The holder of each ticket voluntarily assumes all risks and danger of property loss and personal injury incidental to the event for which it was issued and related activities, whether such risks and danger occur prior to, during or subsequent to such event. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the ticket holder, personally and on behalf of his or her family, heirs and personal representative(s) hereby releases, absolves and forever discharges Harvard University and its officers, governing board members, faculty, employees, students and agents and any other institution participating in the event from and against any present or future claims, losses or liabilities, costs and expenses for injury to person or property or for any other damage, which the ticket holder may suffer, or for which the ticket holder may be liable to any other person, arising from or related to the event for which this ticket grants admission.

All sales are final. Athletic schedules are subject to change for any reason at any time (including game dates, times, and opponents). If the event specified on this ticket is rescheduled for any reason this ticket will be valid for the rescheduled event date and time, and the ticket holder will not be entitled to a ticket exchange or refund for any reason. Handling charges, convenience fees and other service charges are not refundable. Harvard Athletics will not provide a ticket exchange or refund for any counterfeit tickets purchased in the secondary market or for any lost or stolen tickets. Lost tickets may be reissued to the account holder of record at the sole discretion of Harvard Athletics.

Recycling Policy

Harvard uses Single Stream Recycling, so all cans, bottles, paper and cardboard may go in the same bag (this includes solo cups and plastics #1-7). Recycling and trash bins will be located under the stadium and in the concession area, please place all recycling in the blue bag and all trash in the black bag. When done, leave the bags tied up on the ground, and they will be picked up after the game.

Fan Code of Conduct

Harvard Athletics encourages and promotes good sportsmanship by student-athletes, coaches, officials, and spectators. Our goal is to create a first-class environment to lend support to our teams while maintaining a safe and fun atmosphere for all. We request your cooperation by supporting the participants, coaches, officials, and fellow spectators in a positive, respectful manner. Inappropriate behavior, including the use of foul language, engaging in negative verbal attacks, or discrimination based on race, color, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, creed, national origin, age, ancestry, veteran status, disability, military service, or any other legally protected basis, of players, officials, coaches, and/or other spectators will not be tolerated. Anyone in violation of these policies may be asked to leave by security personnel.

Tailgating - Football Only

In an effort to provide a safe and enjoyable atmosphere for all fans and spectators, Harvard Athletics, in cooperation with the Harvard University Police Department has established the following policies regarding tailgating within the Harvard Athletic Complex. Harvard University is a great place to tailgate; however, rules are strictly enforced!

  • Guests who park within the athletic complex (gates 8, 14, 16 and 20) are welcome to tailgate at their vehicles. Tailgating, however, is not permitted for fans parking in the Harvard Business School parking lot.

  • All parking gates open two hours prior to kickoff for tailgating.

  • Each vehicle is permitted one parking space and the area directly behind the vehicle for tailgating.  You may not block aisles or other vehicles from parking.

  • Commercial vehicles (U-hauls), RV's, Winnebagos and trucks are not permitted in any parking facility. Corporate sampling, give-a-way, and promotional vehicles MUST have prior written permission by Harvard Athletic Marketing to enter any parking lot.   • Tailgating is limited to two hours before and one hours after each game. There will be no tailgating after night games.  

  • Beer kegs and items that promote the rapid consumption of alcohol are not permitted at any University athletic function or event. No individual or group may transport a keg to a University athletic event.

  • Grills using charcoal are prohibited within the athletic complex. The maximum propane gas cylinder size allowed will be 20 pounds.

  • All persons, bags, and personal items are subject to inspection before entering Harvard Stadium. No backpacks of any type will be admitted. No bag or item larger than 12” x 12”x 12” will be permitted inside the stadium.
